XR - End Stroke Mechanical Regulation
Alfamatic’s XR mechanical limit switch allows the total stroke of the cylinder to be limited.
Adjustment is simple: simply operate the handwheel at the end of the device and set, with the help of the front graduated scale, the desired value.
This adjustment is a viable alternative to positive mechanical stops placed on the mold.
In fact, the stroke limitation intervenes directly on the cylinder rod, without generating harmful bending on the mold or on the structure.

Cylinders with mechanical XR limit switches develop a working force 20% lower than the value given in the Range and Specifications section.
The optional can only be installed only on AX series cylinders.
