Press-Right with SA Electric Cylinder

The Press-Right is the control tool for the SA electric actuator and adjusts its speed in real time by means of the feedback from the force and position transducers. This makes it possible to achieve the desired force value in an optimal way, because the speed is only reduced when the force measured during pressing approaches the desired value. The cycle time is thus reduced and the actual force exerted does not exceed the desired one.

Stop and maintenance of the programmed force value: thanks to the closed-loop force value feedback, the force is kept constant, automatically and continuously correcting the cylinder position.

The elimination of intermediate stops eliminates seizure phenomena during the assembly of the pieces. The possibility of using a precision probe solves positioning problems in the best possible way with measurements referring to a predetermined zero point.

The speed of the cylinder follows a profile divided into three segments with three different speeds, however it is possible to modify these values ​​directly from the instrument to parameterise a desired profile, even a complex one, in a simple way using a few values.
